Late 1960s-Early 1970s Pauline Rader Tree of Life Brooch

This lovely Tree of Life brooch designed by Pauline Rader is beautifully detailed. Not a large brooch, but finely executed by a well known costume jewelry designer whose signed pieces are hard to come by. This particular brooch is depicts a detailed Tree of Life in a planter topped with a row of small clear faceted rhinestones and has nine faux turquoise round glass balls which dangle from the branches. The balls are in two different sizes and give nice movement to the brooch. The brushed gold plated setting adds to the quality and attractiveness of the piece. The back of the brooch is finished nicely, too. This pretty Tree of Life brooch by Pauline Rader will make a splendid addition to any costume jewelry collection!

P.S. I photographed this brooch against two different blue and one white. The gold plating is very yellow and does look more accurate on the blue backdrop.

Condition: Excellent

No issues have been detected on this brooch. The gold plating is in marvelous condition with no apparent signs of wear and the faux turquoise balls are in tact.

Signed: Pauline Rader
