1970's Chinese Junk Brooch Signed Hattie Carnegie

Hattie Carnegie was a fan of the Chinese motif and created a line of jewelry with this theme and here is a prime example from that noted collection. A Chinese junk with it's sail set glides along the water and on board is a Chinese gentleman complete with hat! The sail, the bottom of the junk and the waves below the vessel are made from green resin made to imitate carved jade and is set in a gold tone metal. A delightful brooch from one the great fashion designers, Hattie Carnegie, would be beautiful worn on a lapel and even more spectacular on a hat!
