1960's Black and White Checked Wool Coat Designed by Kip Carpenter Exclusive for Saks Fifth Avenue

P.S. Check out the 1960's black velvet Adolfo II Pillbox Hat (#217)....it would look just great with this coat!

Condition: Very Good

This coat has one issue which I believe appears to be much more prevalent in the photos than it actually appears to be when the coat is being worn. In fact, my husband and I both had to take this garment outside and look at it in natural light to be sure there is some very faint staining to the lower right front panel of the coat. With the checked pattern of the wool, it's very hard to see, but it is there, just the same. Whatever it is does not appear on the inner lining of the coat at all. This may be able to be removed by a professional cleaner. This is definitely not an obtrusive issue and almost undetectable unless really looking for it. Otherwise, this coat was very gently worn....cuffs show no signs of wear and the wool is undamaged.
