1960's White Wool Felt Dome Hat With Black Polka Dots Designed by Valerie Modes

Black wool felt polka dots on a white wool felt dome hat......sweet! Some of the polka dots are small and some are big splashed across the a white felt dome from the youthful and energetic 1960's! The base of the dome is surrounded with a great wide velvet hatband for a smashing effect and if that's not enough.....a stiff black diamond patterned netting that cascades in a swirl from a big black polka dot in the center of the tall crown. This hat is unlined and comb in the front to secure the hat to the lady's head. There is a black grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. You can never go wrong with the winning combination of black and white....and better yet, POLKA DOTS, too! All in one little hat!

Condition: Excellent

This hat looks as if it has been very gently worn. Very clean.

In order to photo the label, I had to temporarily secure the corner....it's bent up and probably could be permanently put down, that is, if the new owner so desires. There is a Union Label under the Valerie label.
