1980's Straw Hat with Pheasant Feathers Designed by Adolfo II

Here's another statement maker to add to your collection! The body of this hat is made from very finely woven, lightweight natural straw and is shaped to resemble a modified ten gallon hat! This hat's crown is tall and has a slight indent on the top. The generous brim is rolled upward on the sides and has a finished edge all the way around the brim. The outer hatband looks like it is made from faux suede and is top stitched both top and bottom. Of course, the "piece de resistance" is the spectacular Pheasant feather detail consisting of three very long brown feathers (approximately 15" each in length) which are held at the bottom of the right side of the hat by a faux suede quiver attached to the hatband. No lining needed in this smooth hat. A deep rose pink grosgrain ribbon hatband on the inside adds another stylish touch to this extremely comfortable "big" hat! As, I stated previously....this hat is as light as a feather. No heavy, bulky hat here....just pure quality!

Condition: Very Good

The feathers, considering the fact that they are so long, are in surprisingly good condition. Please see the photos for more detail. There is some very slight soiling on the front of the inner grosgrain ribbon hatband which appears to be from makeup. Also, please see the photo of this issue.
