I feel fortunate to have discovered these particular Tagua nuts for this design. This lovely type of Tagua nut is hard to find. They are light and their natural color is beautiful.
Many people don’t realize that when you purchase something made of Tagua nuts you are actually helping to save the rainforest because you are supporting a renewable product that does not destroy the rainforest trees. Tagua nuts have long been used in the US as buttons before plastic buttons came along. They are also known as “vegetable ivory”.
This unisex necklace is 19 ½ inches long. The Tagua nuts are alternated with fancy jasper 6 mm rounds. The focal stone is an eight-pointed agate “star”, bound in copper wire.
The necklace is secured with a solid copper toggle clasp.
When I make unisex or men’s necklaces, I don’t usually add my TISA maker’s mark tag, but if you want that on the necklace I can add it before shipping. Just e-mail me and let me know.
Your necklace will be carefully and safely shipped and will arrive in a nice gift box, complete with gold ribbon.
Thank you for taking time to look at my shop and this necklace.
