French 10K Gold Filled Luncheon Knives 12 by Paul Morin of Paris, c.1870 - 1880.

These attractive, unusual and useful knives test as 10K, could be 12K but are not 14K.. All 12 knives polished up very nicely and the color of the Gold finish is uniform overall, with no wear through of the Gold. One of the knives has an edge mark on its blade. The blades and the hollow handles are made from the same metal.

All 12 knives have an ornate period monogram H, each knife is 8" long and the 12 weigh 650 grams 21 ozs. Troy.

The excellent original condition, with no removals, repairs or alterations makes this an especially attractive offering.

The original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
