Russian Miniature Spoon 84 Standard Silver 1848 St Petersburg

Russian 84 standard silver miniature spoon in a Fiddle pattern, assayed in St Petersburg in 1848 by Dmitry Ilyich Tverskoy, maker's mark I.A., having an ornate, period monogram on the front of the handle in Latin script: HR

This most unusual, diminutive spoon is 4 3/16" long and weighs 9 grams.

Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.

The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
