Lorgnette Coin Silver Acid Etched 1880

This elegant lorgnette is 3 3/8" long once folded, the spectacles are 3 3/4" wide,the chain is 23" long with a 4 1/2" extension, total weight is 40 grams.

The lenses are a good magnifiers, but they are slightly scratched. The frames could be fitted with custom lenses.

Monogrammed JP in an ornate period script, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.

The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
