Georgian Serving Spoons 2 Repousse Floral Bowls Sterling Silver 1787 1812
English sterling silver serving spoons with a full set of London Hallmarks for 1787 and 1812. The 1787 spoon was made by Samuel Wintle and the 1812 spoons was made by the three Williams: Eley, Fearn and Chawner.
Each of these Georgian serving spoons has an engraved scroll handle and ornate, Repousse floral bowls, with the pair weighing a total of 131 grams or 4.2 ozs. Troy and being 9 1/2" in length.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The marks on the 1787 spoon are rubbed but legible.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals or repairs, make this an especially attractive offering
