Indian Colonial sterling silver swing arm sugar basket and snake handle creamer, c.1900.
This elegant and useful figural set has 8 lobed panels of animals, floral and architectural decorations and gilt interiors. The basket has an ornate swing handle with a loosely mounted ring handle. The creamer has a hooded Cobra handle and sits on a raised circular base.
The creamer is 3 1/4" in diameter, 4" handle to spout, 3 1/2" tall and weighs 108 grams or 3.5 ozs. Troy.
The sugar basket is 3 3/4" in diameter, 2" tall, 5 1/2" tall to the top of the handle and weighs 110 grams or 3.5 ozs. Troy.
