American Arts and Crafts style covered vegetable dish or entree server in the Dolores pattern by Shreve and Co. of San Francisco, California, c.1915.
This handsome dish has applied, hammered strap work handles and borders on both the base and cover, which can be turned over, making the dish into two serving bowls.
Weighing a substantial 779 grams or 25 ozs, this double entree server is 10 3/4" long, 7 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" deep.
It has a a period Arts and Crafts style monogram W on the side of the cover.
Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
