French 1st Empire Open Salts Ambroise Mignerot Paris 1815
These exquisite salts have wire frame bodies and heavy rims and square bases.
Each is marked with the old Association of Gold and Silversmiths mark and the maker's mark on the rims and under the bases. The cobalt glass liners fit well and appear to be original
Weighing a total of 220 grams or 7.1 ozs. Troy without the liners, each of these highly desirable salts is 2 3/8" tall and 2 7/(8" in diameter.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
