American sterling silver souvenir spoon from the 29th encampment of the GAR in Louisville Kentucky, 1895.
This attractive and collectible spoon has a bust of Washington, the Capitol Building and crossed flags on the handle, with an embossed GAR medal in the bowl.
The spoon is 5 5/8" long and weighs 20 grams. It is inscribed on the back of the handle Louisville, KY. 1895
Inscribed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
