Thimble Case Floral Scroll Sterling Silver 1860

This thimble case has no jump ring and was not intended to be hung on a Chatelaine.

The bottom of the case has a later sterling mark. The style of the case and the monogram are a strong indicator of the c.1860 attribution. The inside of the case has its original domed top insert.

This wonderfully elegant thimble case or holder is 1" tall' 15/16" in diameter and weighs 11 grams.

Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original antique finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
