Baby Porringer Bowl Strasbourg Pattern Gorham Sterling Silver

This regal Strasbourg pattern sterling silver porringer was crafted c. 1950 by Gorham Silversmiths of Providence, Rhode Island. It features a beautifully reticulated handle and decorative border with the gorgeous scrolls and shell motif that made this pattern a classic. It is a lovely example of mid 20th century infant sterling and it would make a perfect gift for a baptism or baby shower.

It stands an 1 1/2" high, 4" diameter, 6" length across the handle and weighs a substantial 83 grams or 2.67 ounces Troy weight.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
