Baby Porringer Bowl Humpty Dumpty Webster Sterling 1930

Engaging little American sterling silver baby porringer style bowl, expertly crafted by Webster, c.1930. It features a delightful applied Humpty Dumpty handle and would have been a rare luxury in the 1930's. It is a beautifully detailed example of American Depression Era infant sterling and it would make a lovely gift for a baptism, or a marvelous addition to any sterling collection.

It stands 1 1/8" high, 3 1/2" diameter across the bowl and weighs a substantial 62.3 grams or 2 ounces Troy.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
