Knife Rests 1876 George Angel London Sterling Silver
Handsome pair of 136 year old sterling knife rests made by famous British silversmith, George Angel of London. They have full set of British hallmarks for their maker, London, and the year 1876. They are in exceptional condition and would grace any table today just as they did when they were skillfully crafted over a century ago. They measure 3 1/3" in length by 1" in width and weigh a substantial 64 grams or 2.05 ounces Troy. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
