Antique petticoat Victorian era linen
Fabulous antique petticoat from the Victorian era. This petticoat is interesting as it is fashioned of a linen fabric with a ticking stripe. Fabulously decorative! There are 2 tiers that are hand stitched folds to shorten this petticoat that can be let out to be a full length piece. The waistline has tight gathers into the waist. Back closure is older snaps; the waistline closure is missing
Condition: There are several pale rust stains throughout... they are not glaring and should easily remove with an oxy soak.
Size: Waistline measures 24" around. Waistline to hemline measures 38-1/2" long. This can be lengthened 3-4" if the folds are released.
