This is a beautiful bonnet veil from the 19th century Victorian era. It is a veil worn in mourning, black in color with gorgeous floral embroidery on net. The netting looks to be silk. The veil is in very good condition; I am not seeing any holes here, but in case I missed the tiniest of tiny lets just assume there are probably a couple. This veil measures 38" X 40". The color is black, but the floral embroidery is a copper color. This looks to be a deliberate contrast and not a fade.
