Vintage tilt hat w ostrich feather red velvet 1940s

Gorgeous tilt hat from the late 1940s. This hat is fashioned of a cherry red rayon velvet and is trimmed with a gorgeous curled ostrich feather trim in a charcoal gray. There is nothing timid about this one. I just love it! It has side wires to keep on the head but you are most likely going to need a hat pin also. Condition is very good; there are some chips in the feather center; this could easily be fixed with a sharpie marker to blend; if you would like me to do it for you just say the word. On the inside of the hat there are a couple of teeny holes to the velvet that are unseen. Hat measures 9" across
