Vintage petticoat, Edwardian era is fashioned of a silk damask upper in a pale boudoir pink. The flounce on this slip is magnificent and a Brussels lace flounce gathered into the tier. The tier measures 42" around and is 17" wide. The flounce when not gathered would most likely be significantly more than 42". The closure is a hook and eye at the waistline and snaps. This would be a spectacular bridal slip and certainly be a treasured something old.
Condition: The piece has no staining or tears. The waistline was most likely originally a drawstring, replaced by early elastic which has lost all elasticity and will need to be either replaced with new elastic or a drawstring. Otherwise most excellent.
