This is an antique dress from the Victorian era. It is a rather plain dress most likely worn to do the housework and chores. Not everyone had a staff of maids and house workers. It most likely was worn in summer. The dress is unlined and is a 2 piece dress. The dress is constructed with both hand and machine stitching. The bodice has a front closure. No hook and eyes are present. The pin at the neckline is NOT offered in this listing.. I just used it as a decoration; it is 30's. The skirting has a rear hook and thread loop closure.
Color: tiny mauve and white calico design
Condition; Very good. Dress has a few tiny holes as would be expected. There is no staining or odors. No weakness. It is in very good wearable condition.
