This is a pair of open middle bloomers or pantaloons from the Victorian era. They are interesting in that they are plain and unadorned... not the lacy pantaloons that I am used to seeing. Perhaps worn for housework. The open middle is from waistline front all the way around to waistline back. There is a button closure at the waistline.
Condition: These pantaloons are in good wearable condition. There is a small tear on the bottom of 1 leg, pictured. There is one small rust stain, pictured. These have not been cleaned.
Age: Victorian era
Size: Waistline measures 26" max. Inseam to the open middle measures 14". Out seam measures 26". Bottom leg opening is 15" around.
