This is a gorgeous vintage wedding gown, vintage 1940's WWII era. It is fashioned of a rayon satin as many gowns were due to the absence of silk. The yoke of the gown is nylon netting, and the bodice is a drop waist renaissance style with elaborate beading in the bodice. The gown has a massive train as was popular in this era with a back loop and button closure. Gown has classic 1940's very padded shoulders
Condition: The gown is excellent condition; Flaws include 1 small place in the back of the gown where the beading is loose and needs to be knotted. There is no loss and a safety pin holds it steady.
There is 1 missing covered button in the back. Some surface dirt is at the hem edge.
NO staining, No perspiration stains. Dress has not been cleaned.
Nylon Yoke has 2 pinholes.

Age: 1940s WWII era
Size: Bust up to 36". Waistline is 26" Max. Waistline to hemline is 42-43". This is a drop waist dress; hard to tell exactly where waistline falls from.
