6 1/2" Antique Canton China Bowl with Blue Decoration
This is a nice looking piece of Chinese export Canton China from the mid 1800s with blue and white decoration. It is a 2 1/2" tall bowl with a 6 1/2" diameter. It is fairly heavy with a nice glaze and no markings on the underside. The village artwork is very crude which is typical of this pottery. The condition is good for the age. There is a small chip on the rim and a 2" hairline that is stable. This would look very nice in an early cabinet or on a mantle.
