Wood Jumping Jack Acrobat Toy American Indian
Wonderful old Jumping Jack trapeze toy that would probably date to the 1920s to 40s. It represents an American Indian with a wonderful carved feathered head dress, colorful moccasins and very nicely painted face.
It is very sell made, but I cannot tell if this was home made or factory made. This is in good condition for the age. There is some paint wear from being played with.
He flips around and does trapeze acts and somersaults when the sides or stilts are pushed in. The toy works very well and is in good condition for the age. The acrobat is 7" long with his hands stretched upward and the sides are 14" long, 3 1/2" wide at the top narrowing to 3 3/4" at the bottom of the slats.
