Double Sided "BOOTS" Wooden Figural Trade Sign

For sale is a fantastic old wood trade sign advertising boots for sale. The sign is double sided and in the shape of a boot with BOOTS in black paint on a white background on both sides. The sign is 39 3/4 inches tall and 22 1/2 inches across the bottom. The old sign obviously hung outside and has an old tin repair to the wood down one side and across the foot of the boot; it appears the tin was wrapped around that side and tacked onto the wood. There is deterioration to the wood above the tin. The sign has iron pieces near the top and one at the bottom; the bottom one looks like a spur but may just have been for hanging. Two holes are drilled into the wood beneath the T. The wood and the tin show wear in places, a few tacks are missing and there's a break in the tin at the curve. There are lots of pictures so take a good look at this wonderful old trade sign. It would be an excellent addition to a collection!
