For sale is a very special and unusual pair of 14K child's jewelry; they appear to be buttons that were sewn on a Victorian child's dress to hold tied or streaming ribbon adornments. I left the tattered ribbon that I found on them to demonstrate their use; I believe they were used on the upper bodice of a young child's clothing. Each is 7/16 by 1/4 inch and marked E S and 14K. There's a bar across the back on which to tie the ribbon. These are lovely and early pieces and would make an excellent addition to a collection.
