Japanese Arita Hizen egg-shell porcelain soba cup sign

Very fine Japanese Arita Hizen egg-shell porcelain Soba cup made in circa 1820 at Mikawachi factory. Masterfully executed underglaze blue design taken from Chinese Jiaging period porcelain. This cup copied the shape, design and motifs of Ch'ing dynasty products and were made until the mid-19th century. Sign ZO-SHUN-TEI SAN-HO TSUKURU Made by Zoshuntei San Ho. 8.5 cm=3 3/8" tall, 9 cm=3 1/4" diameter. Condition: no chips, no hairlines, no repair.
