Offered is this beautiful, tall, hand-painted French glass vase - it was probably made by Joseph Brocard, a contemporary of Emile Galle, based on the enameling. Polished pontil. It is 11 inches (28 cm) in height. The vase, with three applied handle is in very good condition (there is the age-appropriate fading to the enameling). The vase fluoresces a gentle-green when subjected to long-wavelength black-light, which is indicative of the vase's glass-blank to be made of typical 19th century soda-lime glass.
