Offered is this beautiful and rare rainbow glass vase, made by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England, around 1890 - beautiful rainbow of colors and hand-enameling. The ribbed-glass vase is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall. It is in very good condition (there is some age-appropriate fading to the gold gilt and some bubbles in glass typical of mouth-blown glass objects (see pictures). Broad polished pontil. Unsigned, but guaranteed to have been made by Webb (please refer to page 152 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two for a similar Webb rainbow-glass vase - shown in last two pictures here for your convenience).
