Offered is this beautiful Steuben Jade glass with alabaster 'M' handles that was converted to a lamp. Overall, the lamp is about 27 inches tall. The glass vase itself is over 10 inches in height and 7 1/2 inches wide (handle-to-handle) and 7 inches wide at the widest part (without handle). The glass is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (the polished pontil of the vase has a clean drilled hole). There is a fabrication flaw (see 5th picture), that is typical of a hand-made item. Though unsigned (it may have been signed with the Steuben acid-mark at the center of the pontil and the mark destroyed when it was drilled), it is guaranteed to have been made by Steuben - it is in Steuben Shape Number 8508 (refer to page 302 of Gardner's book - shown in 7th picture here for your convenience). Also, a similar Steuben jade glass vase with alabaster M-handles is shown on page 409 of Warman's book, 'Antiques & Collectibles', 44th edition (shown in the last two pictures here for your convenience). There is age-appropriate wear to the period metallic parts of the lamp. Thanks for looking.
N.B. The lamp would be shipped dismantled (cost of shipping a large lamp becomes prohibitively expensive). The electrical cord had to be cut to reduce the lamp-size to a manageable size and to show the vase's bottom. It would be fairly straightforward to reassemble the lamp (please make sure you use electrical tape to reattach the two parts of the cord - you may also want to use a new cord).
