This is a positively dreamy opalescent glass low bowl or platter, made in France by Etling. It features an embossed pattern of gorgeous, overlapping flowing Sea Anemones and is the called'anémones de mer' a pattern designed by Georges Beal around 1930. The opalescence is created in the glass recipe and develops and shows in the thickest parts of the glass. It is in excellent condition, with no chips in the glass.
This piece measures 12" x 3 1/4" and stands on 3 round feet. It is marked "ETLING FRANCE."
