Unger Bros Douvaine Sterling Silver Single Tine Butter Pick

This is one of my favorite Unger Brothers flatware patterns. From the Dolphin at the top to the open screaming moth pure genius. This is a single tine butter pick. The end is twisted and pointed with an arrow at the end. It is 6 3/4" long and weights 17 grams. The back has the Unger Bros Mark and sterling silver. The Unger Brothers became one of the premier and most well-know American manufacturers of sterling silver jewelry and objects. Born to a family that immigrated from Germany, the Unger Brothers established their business in Newark, NJ and began producing sterling silver jewelry in 1878.
