American Sterling Silver Preserve Spoon in the Chrysanthemum Pattern by Durgin Silversmiths.
The Chrysanthemum Pattern debuted in 1893.
This elegant and ornate serving spoon has Chrysanthemum decorations on both sides of the handle, running down into the front half of the bowl. The detail is amazing showing off Durgin's suburb silver smithing ability.
The spoon is 9" long and weighs 120 grams or 3.6 ozs. troy.
It is in excellent condition with clear, crisp detail, and fine craftsmanship and no monograms, and was retailed by Galt & Bros
