An elegant, solid, unique Mid-Century Modernist Silver Bracelet from Mexico, with a polished turquoise stone by Erika Hult de Corral. The inside diameter approximately 2-3/8 x 2". Erika Hult de Corral studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris. She worked with Sigfrido Pineda and Enrique Ledesma in Taxco before opening her own workshop. She is known for her great Modernist designs Because of the porous nature of turquoise its patina, has become a rich light green in its color. It fits a medium sized wrist of 6 1/2 inches, has a clasp that works perfectly with a great design and weighs a total of 1.8 troy ounces. There are several markings on the interior of the sterling silver bracelet; one mark is "HECHO EN MEXICO" the other is a pattern marking of 205, and then the maker's mark TAXCO and what looks to be the initials RIC. Its a beautiful bracelet, in great condition, and has an elegant organic design.
