French Glass Enameled Vase with "Broken Egg Shell" Rim (Unsigned)
This is a beautiful French enameled glass vase, most likely made by LaGras or Daum Nancy (although it is unsigned). This vase features a gorgeous lake side scene depicted in dark green and brown enamel, stretching all the way around the surface of the vase with small boats in the water. This vase is oval or egg-shaped and the rim is fashioned to look like the top of a recently hatched egg. LaGras and Daum Nancy were two of the French Art Glass Companies who had similar painted enamel landscapes and used the broken egg shell rim.
This vase measures 3.5" x 5.5". It is in great condition, with only a few tiny chips in the glass on the bottom of the vase (see photos).
