The Lancaster Pattern was introduced by Gorham in 1897 and has been very popular ever since. This is a beautifully pierced olive spoon. The pierced pattern is of a flower with leaves. The roses at the top of the terminal are very detailed and lead into a delicate beading that flows down the handle. It is a long handled spoon at 8 1/2" long and almost 1" wide at the bowl. It weighs 29 grams. There is a monogram engraved on the handle.
