French Provincial Sterling Silver After Dinner Spoon from Towle

This is a lovely After Dinner spoon from Towle in the French Provincial Pattern. They introduced this in 1948. The spoon is 4 #/4" long x3/4" wide and weights 19 Gram. Excellent condition, no monograms. French Provincial takes the shape of a graceful curving fiddle, in a blend of sophistication and simplicity. While its outline suggests richly decorated traditional patterns, French Provincial's ornamentation is light. A classic elegant pattern from Towel
