This fine blue cut to clear scent bottle dates to about 1880. The bottle measures approx. 4" tall in and has a flat polished bottom. The bottle has a very attractive slim, tapering form and is made of clear glass with blue overlay and is cut in a series of triangle like shapes. The bottle lid is an unmarked (but tested) to be sterling silver. The collar and hinged lid is covered with lovely foliate scroll work and repousse decoration.
This elegant bottle has no damage to the glass with intact neck and complete with clear glass inner stopper. The silver lid has a tiny pin hole at the top but still and fits firmly and securely. Another beautiful sandwich glass perfume bottle for the collector.
