Ornately Reticulated English Sterling Silver Fish Serving Set

This is an Exceptional English Sterling Silver Fish Serving Set . The blade and tines were made by Colen Cheshire of Birmingham, he registered his mark in 1865. The date mark of r indicates they were made in 1866. Each piece is elaborately reticulated and enhanced with brite cut work. The hollow handles are made of a heavy gauge silver. The handles were made by another silversmith with the makers mark of HA and also with a Queen Victoria Hallmark . Very beautifully made and an important sized set. This set measures 13" long and its matching fork measures 9 3/4" in length. They are in very good condition and the reticulation is masterfully done.
