Set of Five English Fiddle Pattern Sterling Silver Teaspoons Circa 1890

Presented is set of 5 English sterling silver teaspoons made in London. These spoons are in the Fiddle Pattern, a classic English Pattern. All of the spoons bear the English lion passant mark for sterling silver. The makers mark GMJ for George Maudlsley Jackson aka Josiah William & Co. He was from Bristol. The date mark for all is a Q for 1891. The spoons have a monogram of a M. They are 5 1/4" long and 1 1/4" wide. They weight 18 grams each for a total of 3 troy oz. They are in excellent condition, with the marks very clear. An exceptional set of English Teaspoons.

Each spoon measures 4 5/8 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 49 grams or 17 ounces. I also a a pair of sugar tongs by the same maker if you want a more complete grouping.
