Mother of Pearl Egg Shape Pill Thimble/ Box with a Brass Clasp
Here is a lovely antique mother of pearl, thimble holder, or egg shaped box. It has the lovely original brass fittings with two tiny handles for the closure and opening. The shell has a lovely patina very colorful.
It is 2 & 1/8" long, 1 & 1/8" wide and is 1 & 1/2" tall. It is is very good condition having a small hairline crack to the shell (see picture).
The lid fits well and overall is a beautiful thimble holder.
