This is a beautiful vanity or dresser jar with an American Brilliant Period "ABP" cut glass body. The glass is a repeating pattern of sunflowers and deep cut leaves. It is in very good condition with only some minor fleabites to the flowers. The sterling silver lid has a beautiful repousse pattern of florals and scroll leaves. The center has a monogram. There are some small dents to the lid probably from dropping, but it retains it's beauty and elegance. The patina on the silver is quiet lovely and highlights the decoration; the inside of the lid has a good wash. It has a sterling mark and the makers mark of the Webster Company. It measures 4" in diameter and 3" tall. The Webster Company was originally founded by George K. Webster in 1869 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Their line of sterling items included over 20 patterns of dresser sets, picture frames, cigarette holders, bowls, baby items, candlesticks, napkin rings and more.
