Broom Corn from Tiffany & Co is a very unusual pattern; It incorporates both Aesthetic and Art Nouveau styles to create this beautiful design. It has bold wavy lines that form the border of the handles which cross over each other at the base and form a shield at the top which is monogrammed PSM.
This pattern was designed by John T. Curran in 1890. Curran became Tiffany's lead silver designer after Edward C. Moore died in 1891. The backs of these lovely salad servers marked are stamped TIFFANY & CO. The set measures 10" long and 2 1/2" wide and weighs a combined 7.40 troy oz. They are in excellent condition.
