Scalloped Edge Campbell Metcalf Sterling Silver Sugar in the Eton Pattern

Here is a lovely Campbell Metcalf Sugar or Preserve Spoon in the Eton Pattern from 1892. It has a gadroon edge along the handle with scrolls that gracefully adorn the spoon. The bowl of the spoon has a special scalloped edge and a small bright cut decoration. It is 5 1/2" long and 1 3/8" wide and weights 16 grams. It is marked Sterling but has no makers mark but can be found in their pattern designs.

Campbell Metcalf was founded by Ernest W. Campbell and Joseph M. Metcalf, they were makers of sterling flatware and souvenir spoons. They were only active from 1892 - 1900
