Enameled David Andersen Sterling Silver Spoon

This David Andersen enameled sterling silver spoon is in excellent condition. It was made around 1900. The enamel work is comprised of two opaque colors; a medium turquoise & white. It is in excellent condition with no missing areas showing base sterling or repairs. The turquoise is a flow on style with a slight concave surface allowing the delicate sterling rope pattern to show through. The 1/16" white enameled dots are called "jeweling" as they are slightly raised above their sterling rope patterned rims. It measure 6 1/8" in length x 1 3/8" wide. The back of the handle has the Andersen hallmark used between 1888 -1925 and 925 for silver content.
