Hanau Creamer 800 Silver by Schleissner & Sohne

This is a very sweet Hanau Creamer by Schleissner & Sohne. This piece is adorned with a flowered cartouche on one side and is ribbed in an upward swirl in the body of the creamer. It is in a Rocco style. This piece was made between 1892- 1920. It has a lovely wooden handle that has a warm patina. Hanau Silver pieces often copied styles from previous centuries. This piece is 2" h x 3 1/2" w and 2" in diameter at the widest point. The marks on the bottom slightly worn but can be identified as a Schleissner mark.
