Victorian Paper Mache Shoe-Shaped Snuff Box
This is a lovely Victorian figural shoe-shaped snuff box. This little shoe is decorated with some stitching and button details, making it look more like a realistic shoe. The bottom is equipped with a striker on the sole of the shoe. The shoe fetish has been around a long time, apparently.
This snuff box is in very good condition, with only some minor paint chips. Measures 3 1/4" x 1" x 1 1/2" and dates to around 1870.
